The 2022-24 MBA students' third-semester answer sheets disappeared while in a teacher's care. Students from five different colleges are the owners of the missing answer sheets.

Kolkata: Kerala University has sparked outrage by demanding 71 MBA students from the 2022-24 batch retake their "Project Finance" exam, originally taken on May 31, 2024, due to the loss of their answer sheets by an evaluating teacher.

Students, already frustrated by significant delays in their third-semester results, were further dismayed to learn they must now re-sit an exam nearly ten months later, impacting their career prospects. The teacher's explanation of losing the papers during a journey prompted the university senate to schedule a reexamination for April 7th. Students have heavily criticized the university's handling of the situation, demanding accountability and questioning the feasibility of preparing for a long-past exam.

Adding to the controversy, retired university employee R.S. Sasikumar pointed to the recent shift from centralized to at-home answer sheet evaluation as a potential contributing factor and suggested the university grant average marks and publish the results quickly to rectify the situation. The Vice-Chancellor has called for an urgent meeting to address the escalating issue.
